Warranty Policy
After Bambu Lab's inspection and judgment, if your product has not been dropped, immersed in water, or unauthorized disassembly and modification, and it is determined that the failure is caused by poor materials, workmanship or function during the warranty period, Bambu Lab will repair or replace spare parts free of charge after providing the corresponding purchase certificate, three-guarantee certificate and related documents.
Different series of products and accessories have different warranty periods. You can get relevant details in the product warranty period list.
Bambu Lab has the right to refuse to provide free warranty service for products within the warranty period if the device has the following conditions:
- The user fails to perform regular maintenance according to the Bambu Lab maintenance guide, or fails to follow the standard operation (such as cleaning, lubrication, etc.) during the maintenance process, which directly causes the device to be damaged;
- The damage is caused by accidents, moisture, stains, sand, water, mildew, corrosion, falling, unauthorized modification (including but not limited to structure, hardware, firmware, etc.), unauthorized repair, collision, burning or third-party equipment and other non-product quality problems;
- The product is found to be damaged due to transportation, but it is not rejected on the spot, and it is impossible to provide the logistics company's cargo damage certificate afterwards;
- The product is damaged due to force majeure (such as earthquake, fire, flood, lightning strike, traffic accident, etc.);
- The user fails to follow the Bambu The warranty does not cover damages caused directly by installing or using the equipment according to the manuals and operating instructions (including product interface prompts, official website guides and other official documents) issued by Bambu Lab;
- The product serial number is torn or altered;
- Failure to provide valid Bambu Lab and official authorized channel purchase certificates, three-guarantee certificates and related documents, or signs of forgery or alteration;
- Any minor appearance damage such as wear and scratches that does not affect product performance;
- Equipment failure or damage caused by the use of other brand parts or low-quality consumables;
- Machines that have not been repaired by officially authorized service points;
- Return/exchange and return to factory for repair must be sent back in the original packaging to avoid other problems during the express delivery process. It is recommended to properly preserve the original packaging of the product;
- After contacting Bambu Lab to confirm the warranty service, the corresponding item is not sent within 7 natural days.
Product warranty period list
The product warranty period starts from the day after you sign for the product. If a part of the product is repaired or replaced during the warranty period, the remaining warranty period of the entire product will apply to the repaired or replaced part. Please note that repairing or replacing parts will not extend the product warranty period.
The following products are covered by a 12-month warranty (some parts may have a warranty period of less than 12 months or no warranty period):
- Bambu Lab full range of printers
- AMS/AMS lite/AMS 2 Pro/AMS HT
- Laser module
- Cutter module
- The following products/parts are covered by a 3-month warranty:
- Extruder (excluding extruder gear assembly)
- Air pipe connector
- AMS/AMS lite loading and unloading assembly (excluding inlet assembly)
- AMS lite rotary axis (excluding AMS lite rotary axis claws)
- Micro SD card
- Related products included in the Maker's Treasure House (creative model components, Makerlab accessories, standard parts, electronic accessories, tools and others)
General accessories:
For specific warranty terms and details, please refer to the three-package quality assurance card in the package.
Please note: The warranty period of accessories is not related to the printer warranty policy.
Consumable parts without warranty: "Consumables" are defined in this article as disposable items, product parts or components that wear out or are consumed during the normal operation of the product. The following consumables have no warranty service. If they are worn out or consumed, you usually need to go to the mall to purchase a replacement. Including but not limited to:
- Hot end assembly (including nozzle, ceramic heating plate, temperature measuring resistor, hot end silicone sleeve, hot end fan, hot end heating assembly)
- Extruder gear assembly
- Printing plate, printing film/transfer film, liquid glue/solid glue
- Teflon material pipe and joint
- AMS active/driven support shaft assembly, inlet assembly, AMS lite rotary axis claw
- Cutter, scraper, nozzle wiper kit, nozzle plug assembly, activated carbon filter, air filter, air pump filter, smoke purifier filter, desiccant, Bambu Lab3D printing consumables
- Bambu Lab materials, 45° fine sharp knife, laser pad, knife cutting pad, etc.
These consumables themselves do not have a warranty period, but if the failure is caused by manufacturing defects, as long as the printer itself is still within the warranty period, we are happy to replace the relevant consumables for you. Such replacement applications will be judged by Bambu Lab based on the actual situation, and the relevant decision will be the final handling opinion.
Laser Module Limited Warranty
To maintain warranty benefits, the user must clean the laser module and surrounding components after each use. Accumulation of smoke, soot and debris may affect device performance and cause problems such as overheating, deposit accumulation or permanent discoloration.
Printers used with laser modules must be properly maintained, including regular cleaning of the ventilation system and exhaust components. Failure to follow these maintenance requirements may void the warranty.
The smoke and heat generated during the engraving process may cause cosmetic changes (such as discoloration or residue accumulation) that do not affect the functionality of the device and are not covered by the warranty. This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper cleaning, negligent maintenance, insufficient ventilation or excessive smoke accumulation.
