Enjoy the benefits of two different textures in one print platform, one side is a textured PEI surface (Textured PEI Surface), the other side is a smooth PEI surface (Smooth PEI Surface). The plate features 0.5 mm magnetic stainless steel, which enhances magnetic adhesion, helps prevent warping and ensures optimal print quality during the 3D printing process.

The smooth PEI surface helps improve the Z-axis precision during printing, ensuring accuracy and consistency of vertical dimensions.

Smooth and Matte Surface Treatment
Using specially selected matte PEI sheets can give the bottom surface of printed objects a smooth, matte texture, enhancing its overall appearance.

Textured PEI Surface :

Excellent first-coat adhesion and increased durability
The textured PEI surface enhances durability and improves adhesion between prints and plates without the use of adhesives.

Self-Releases When Cooled
The textured PEI surface can withstand the repeated heating and cooling cycles of the printer bed. When the heated bed reaches room temperature, the prints will fall off easily.

Precautions

• Dust and grease deposits on the build plate will reduce adhesion. It is recommended to clean the surface regularly with detergent and water to maintain optimal adhesion.

•  Increasing the temperature of the hot bed can enhance the bonding strength. Users need to adjust the temperature of the heated bed according to their specific requirements to achieve the most appropriate bonding level.

•  Carefully sanding the textured PEI surface with fine sandpaper (600 recommended) can help restore adhesion.

•  If bubbles appear on the bottom of the smooth PEI print platform, placing it on a hot bed at least 80 degrees for several hours will help eliminate the bubbles.

•  Do not use acetone to clean Bambu Dual Texture PEI Sheets as this will damage the PEI surface.

•  Bambu Lab recommends using only Bambu Lab official glue on the Bambu Lab printing platform and Bambu Lab is not responsible for any damage to the board caused by using third-party glue on the printing platform.

•  Before removing a printed model, always wait a few minutes to allow the plate to cool down so that the print can be removed easily. This prevents damage to the board and ensures a long lifespan of the product.

•  Bambu Dual Texture PEI Sheet is considered a consumable item and will degrade over time. The warranty only covers manufacturing defects and does not cover cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents or cracks. Only paper that is defective upon arrival is covered by warranty.
